One of the most striking buildings in Ilfracombe, The Habit is a large holiday house sleeping up to 19 people. Originally known as the Crescent House Hotel, it retains many original features in addition to its handsome façade which overlooks the sea front. Set in the heart of Ilfracombe, The Habit is just a few minutes walk from the seafront, theatre, cinema, restaurants and harbour with Damien Hirst's 20m bronze sculpture of Verity.

It’s also only a short walk from the Tunnel Beaches Wedding venue so an ideal place for wedding guests to stay together.

Enter the front door into a lobby for coats and shoes which leads into the lounge with large TV and a sweeping staircase. The lounge has a snug area for quiet conversations or games.

Off this room is the dining room with seating for 19. Doors lead out to the deck with seating and fabulous sea views. This leads to the split-level conservatory which gives you access to the garden and parking area.

The large, newly fitted kitchen / breakfast room is off the dining room and has all the amenities you could possibly need for catering for a large group. There is also a large table seating 12.

The staircase from the lounge takes you down to a very large games room with plenty to entertain all members of your group .

Sleeping

Outside there is a decked area with chairs and tables for about 20 leading out from the dining area. There are great seaviews from here. From the conservatory you have access to the garden with seating for up to 20 plus outdoor kitchen with power and water and a BBQ.

At the bottom of the garden is the parking area for 4 cars and the back gate will lead onto Ilfracombe seafront and all the amenities that are on your doorstep.

In total there are 8 en-suite bedrooms spread around the building .
